so yeah been one of those days where mom just wanted to do something without telling you and forces ya to do it right when you wake up. mmmhmmm

server full in FFXIV again so i guess i stick to playing at night...did a bit of drawing but I will need to clean it up later

so day off and pretty much spent it in a chair...at last my woes of having an mmorpg...i might just draw at work instead to finish that dissdia stuff

Thoughts

Well so far playing the games there doesnt seem to be a direct guidance in their quest line like I am use to in other games...so I got a bulk load of quests and not enough info and guideline on where to go. Still learning though and the map system I kinda hate lol but I will get over it....

What the heck why is it so universal for these MMO to update on tues nights! !%@^(%#$

=_= so today was a day of fun in the park. Then went and chill at friends house with her dog...now it seems like Final Fantasy XVI A Realm Reborn is out on preorder early bird. I got it just I cant download it cause Square Enix likes to be a douche that I have to wait for my confirmation email to finally get to me or that there be a "glitch" somewhere...ya would think that they would keep up on that stuff when they suck the money dry from stuff like *coughs* FF13 *coughs*

Socializing

Well day spent with friends traveling around the place and looking at stuff which we got plenty of that. Ended up with lots of One Piece figures and Ponies.

Then went over to friends friend house where they proceeded to play games and drink alcohol. Viewing much of it zap lots of energy and only a few pokes and prods of uncomfortably but none the less was enjoyable to sit back and watch.

Now home and wont be for long since friends want to go to disneyland so yeah gonna probably attack the coffee

Fujin come on....

Fujin is proving a little more difficult to draw since A. I do not draw her often and B. not a whole lot of reference details

Will keep on trying...so far I like her head but body will still be worked on

Today was rest and relax and play games...I might get back into my knitting that one scarf I am meaning to finish...

3 days off

woot survive another work day which I would say I am a workaholic since I rapidly havent stop moving and was basically cleaning, bagging, and making sure everything is needed is needed. Now I am uber tired and not uber tired....which means i am drawing tonight or playing games n stuff.

Well been really doing nothing but playing animal crossing, mii, swtor and wow...think muse wants a break with mindless stuff atm

Work is getting slow since people are going back to school meaning lower tourist season till probably Halloween time! My fave time of the year....which now I got to go update my calhoun costume x_x ugh

Went home and then play swtor then slept for an hour...woke up to go to disneyland with a friernd I havent seen in a while woo...after I went to work as well...now I am bloody tired

Dissidia aces

Alright so finally whip the guns out to start my progess...since lightning is the most easiest for me =) I go and work on her

x_x only 5 hours for me to draw a character...nice...lol well now I gotta work on the others but sooner or later I will get to it...still got two weeks

So yeah still thinking about dissdia aces and seems like Fujins in the ok so I will go with light. fujin, and paine...would  it be punny to say that Paine is a pain to draw lol...anyways still trying to lay it all out since it is on a layout of course... =/ likely draw light first....still dont know which outfit...if i were to draw her new ones it be the death of me...I might just got with Aya for the simplicity lol who knows...still would like to do clouds outfit just to get some facepalm factor but yeah original might be best =P head hurting

If ya dont know about Dissidia Aces well.. https://dissidiaaces.deviantart.com/ a link to those who wish to know. Short story its a fan base art battle to help improve ya drawing skills while competing in a friendly drawing community way with the Final fantasy universe.

How it works is ya choose 3 characters in the FF world...draw em and submit and if chosen one will go into a tournament style fight against another artist. The two artist will draw the characters in battle and who wins will go up the ladder to meet the next challenger and so forth. Its pretty fun yet taxing since they do have time limits

So they just open cycle 3 basically this is the third tourny out...I saw since the first but never really confident in joining... Another artist I know that was in cycle 2 been egging me on to join and so I would agree to it when the next cycle comes...well seems like they opened it early '_' so if I were to join I need to draw till the 31st and see if any of the characters make it...now choosing a character is hard

I might end up with Lightning/Fujin/Paine as my first pick so yeah gotta get a drawing if I do...

Lightning: I would either do the Aya Bera outfit, GC outfit, or Clouds outfit to spite fun
Fujin its either her normal or Kingdom Hearts one...which I am leaning more on Kingdom Hearts look but I never played the game to know much about it so I might go with the normal look
Paine...i like her outfit as is

Hunger

Saving  money and not spending food for anything sucks...today I ate a chicken bake, pare, and noodle cup. Not much but I will survive. I know others that would have less then me so I must persist to save money. Not liking it but I just have ta do it

Internet slump

So yesterday my internet decided it didnt want to be on...think it waa them cable workers working on the line so yeah not much to be said.

Anyways recap I went to knotts for a friends kinda late birthday outing cause she was in Korea for a teaching gig and came down to visit. Anyways at knotts i get motion sickness so riding rides arent my thing...but got through most of it with minor dizziness and nausea ...totally not like disneyland...they had crane machines in there too which i got a weak spot for em got two plush...one by defualt...the other actual win =). fun day no less

So yeah last day for D23 and out of costume so I can finally use my limbs without the need of help...

Brought the nephews along and well we just zoom by the shoecase and waited in line for a Disney Infinity toy that hasnt even come out yet which is alot like skylanders if anyone wanted to know what Disney Infinity is all about

After brought the boys to disney which went about spending money on them disney food (couldnt resist)

Then came home and kinda sat there thinking...no more armor to mess with for now...what new project to head into...

Still have yet to figure that out

maybe get a whole bunch of blank vyinals and make a chess set as awesome as this...eh in the works

Morning work and so I totally worked and rushed home getting stuff I needed for armor...all night

8th of Aug
Frankly panicking to put armor together and painted the sucker. Debated if I should go to work or not. Did went to work. Went home and totally mad dash finishing armor. I was still trying to work the lights on the legs and actually put things to gather to graft on me. Pray that it all would work. Missing some parts but at this point I ran out of time

9th of Aug
The moment of truth

rare time I would make a costume with a face in it...I just need to make a helmet =.=

After the expo went out and watched the conjering which wasnt that scary then went to sleep and back to expo

and 10th Aug
Work back on my armor from the damage caused by the first day but otherwise it held up very well...

On emore day left before I go back to work x_x ugh my life is so busy

I should really pass out but I cant for the insomnia kicked in...

x_x yep becoming a coffee drinker now for this costume hehe hopefully i finish in time...I will make it darn it...even if some details be slashed I think its looking alright

Kinda used up all my black foam so I am using nice red foam...which gives it a nice contrast

I finish my sewing pieces now I just need to sew it on

Mosey along

Today work in the morning was fast and I was tired...not good of a combo...since I really didnt sleep till two hours before I had to wake up so I wasnt really functioning.

Got home which sundays I am so use to going to my friends house but she went off to six flags so I needed to get my costume done

Well first chores so went around picking up trash

Then went and spray painted basically the upper half of the armor so got my arms since the chest is sprayed. Still sewing the pieces of leg parts....there are 8 pieces...and i only finish 3.5

mark my words i'll get there >.< I had coffee today and likely pass out tomorrow which I dont need to be at work till 3ish...gives me some time. Though it will progressivly get harder since I got day shifts incoming so yeah....squishy time for sure

Yep this is gonna take bulk of the time...wondering if i should sleep or just mad dash it which I have to wake up in about 6 hours anyways for work =/

spray painted the chest to see how it looks =) am happy how it came out and will proceed to spray the rest and also get some paints on it
 only got one piece sewed for the leg x_x

Knees

Running low on supplies again...so may run out tomorrow and get me some more foam pieces

So far made the knee pads...and I am not happy with it but due to time and limited amount of supply I have to suck it up and get it done

Shins

Yeah they look like freaking gundam shins but at this point I really dont care lol least I have room for the battery

Totally burned my left middle finger due to hot gun and it stings like crazy =_=
